After some thinking last night I have made the decision to close the blog.

I will be back in 6 months. I have a lot of great stuff I want to write (it has been building up!) but I don’t want to write it here and then also write about it in the Pond. I cannot face writing duplicate type content. So, for 6 months I will write what would be new blog posts in the forum only.

Comments for the site are still open and I will check in to see if there is anything going on, but no new posts for 6 months peeps.

Cheers, and may you be a lot wealthier than you are now when I return.

Dave (April 25)

    Hey Dave

Gutted your no longer posting on the site, but I guess you have to do what’s best for you.

I would love to be a member of the pond but I’m banned from PayPal unfortunately.

Is there any way I can contact you in private regarding something with my site?

    • Dave says:

Sorry but I don’t want to write just for the sake of it, so this is best short term. Try and get an amigo or family member to sign up with Paypal, you should be able to sort it somehow.

Use the contact form in the top nav bar to get in touch Dude, and I can answer anything in private then.

Dave, I think I know why Amazon closed your account. I saw that you had the “…is a participant in the Amazon Associates…”, but I didn’t find a privacy policy anywhere on your site and that is the other thing required to be an affiliate(at least in the long run).

    • Dave says:

Shawn, they said it was because the sites didn’t make it clear they were linking to Amazon. They gave me some examples and they were for sites I set up to look like stores. Old sites from my early days where I would say “we have the best price” etc, stupid! You live and learn, I just had not thought about them really.
